Project 31 Month 3: Faithful Hands & A Willing Heart: Honorable Work in the Life of a Virtuous Woman
This month we're examining the heart posture a virtuous woman brings to her work. A Proverbs 31 woman approaches her tasks with a willing heart, geared to service, and faithful hands that those around her can trust in. She is honorable, diligent, humble, and effective. She makes wise investments on behalf of her family that cultivate good fruit. We will look at the investments we can make to cultivate good fruit in our lives, and end with a self-assessment on how we can impro

How God Healed My Perspective of Marriage & The Importance of Undivided Loyalty to Christ
Paul tells us it is best to remain unmarried, but it is important to understand the context in which he speaks. In this post, we dive into 1 Corinthians and learn the importance of remaining completely devoted to the Lord both in singleness and in marriage. Yes, it's possible to do both with the help of the Holy Spirit. Marriage is not something to avoid and it doesn't have to be a distraction, but the proper foundation in Christ is a necessary first step to steward marriage

Project 31 Month 2: Learning To Trust & Be Trustworthy
Trust in the Lord is the essence of a Proverbs 31 woman. When our trust in the Lord is disrupted, everything else around us crumbles. We crumble, because God is the source of wisdom. He is the source of self-trust. In this installment of Project 31, we will reflect on three key topics: the trustworthiness of God, rebuilding our trust in the Lord, and learning to trust ourselves by learning to trust the God within us.

Project 31 Month 1: Reclaiming Your Worth & Identity in Christ
In this first installment of Project 31, we will combat the lies of the enemy and reclaim what it means to be a woman of God by remembering our innate, God-given identity and worth. This devotional study is for women of any age in any season. Proverbs 31 is not a badge earned by a marriage certificate. It is a portrait of what a woman looks like when she is living from her God-given identity and essence, which is love.

Introducing Project 31: A Year of Becoming A Proverbs 31 Woman
I am so excited to announce this new project. After deciding to take a hiatus from writing fiction, there were two specific projects that I feel God placed on my heart. The first, Wilderness: The Place Between Bondage and Promise, I've been working on quietly behind-the-scenes. This is a full-length Christian non-fiction book I want to keep close to my heart until it is finished. The second, is Project 31: A Year of Becoming A Proverbs 31 Woman . This project originated as a

Love & Submission: A Picture of Godly Relationships
God's plan for human relationships is first modeled in how our relationship with Him is formed. Love awakens a responsive submission. God never called His daughters to submit to lost or abusive men. He calls us to submit to a husband who is already submitted to Him. When a man pursues us like Christ pursues the church, leads and loves us like Christ--to the best of his human ability--that is a husband worth submitting to.
